Thank you for choosing Rising Above Boundaries for your child’s after school experience! We are looking forward to a safe educational and fun school year. Here at Rising Above Boundaries, we are dedicated to helping your child have the best school year that they can. Our mission is to foster the development of behavioral, academic and mental health outcomes in youth. This school year, children will be engaged in fun educational activities, enrichment and active play. The Rising Above Boundaries Parent Handbook is a resource of policies and procedures for the school year. We encourage you to take the time to read through this with your children. Parents Responsibility
Sending their child to school ready to learn.
Ensuring that their child attends school regularly and arrive on time for after-school pick- up.
Being aware of their child’s work, progress, and problems by reading school/R.A.B. after-school notices, talking to their child about school, reviewing their child’s work and progress reports, and meeting with school/R.A.B after-school Director.
Maintaining verbal and/or written contact with their child’s teachers and R.A.B. after- school Director about the progress of their child’s education.
Adhering to all R.A.B. after-school policies and regulations.
Responding in a timely manner to communications from their child’s teacher and R.A.B. after-school Director.
Attending all meetings and conferences requested by the school and the R.A.B. program that pertain to their child.
Entering the program in a respectful manner, refraining from disruptive behavior and treating all staff with courtesy and respect.
Ensuring that the R.A.B. program is updated with immunizations and accurate contact information (e.g., home address, telephone number).
